At Mudville Flats, we offer a boutique lodging experience in downtown San Diego, at the corner of 10th Avenue and F Street. Our historic 1905 California Craftsman-style property pairs preserved architectural character with the comfort and privacy of furnished flats in a highly walkable urban setting. Conveniently located with easy access to Naval Base San Diego and Naval Medical Center San Diego, as well as nearby downtown schools and colleges.

Mudville Flats reflects the character of a 1905 California Craftsman-style property through preserved original woodwork and restored architectural details. Our four boutique-style flats offer a warm, residential feel, while updated interiors and practical comforts create a stay that feels personal, comfortable, and well suited to downtown San Diego.

Our accommodations include four beautifully furnished flats, each about 700 square feet and designed for up to four people. Every flat includes a separate living area, a fully equipped private kitchen, a California king-size bed, and a sleeper sofa or sofa bed, creating a clean, cozy, functional stay.

Completed in 1905, our property reflects the appeal of California Craftsman design through restored architectural details and preserved woodwork. That early twentieth-century style gives Mudville Flats a distinctive sense of character and style.

We had a fantastic stay at Mudville flats! The service was great and the room was spacious and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the check-in/check-out process was very smooth. Linda was very kind and helpful during the stay as well! Free parking is included and very convenient to access.

    Perfectly located downtown from PETCO Stadium, within walking distance. Excellent restaurants and convenient parking garage across the street. Loved the atmosphere in the place as much as I love baseball and the legend of Kacey/KC Jones of Mudville. What an excellent location, nice accommodation, and a pleasant stay it was for 3 days for the Billy Joel and Sting concert. I highly recommend the place minutes away from the airport!

Easy to walk to Petco Park, Balboa Park, all over downtown and Gaslamp Quarter and the Coronado Ferry. Excellent restaurants nearby. If I could give 10 stars, I would. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
