downtown-san-diego-restaurantsMudville Flats is located in Downtown San Diego and is surrounded by many restaurants most within a short walk. One of our favorite restaurants in the area who we always refer our guests to is the Neighborhood. This London style gastropub boasts around 20 microbreers on tap along with a simple straight forward menu with contemporary cooking techniques applied to Traditional American cuisine.

If you are in a more daring mood there is a speakeasy in the back of the restaurant. This is a traditional speakeasy in every sense except prohibition is no longer in effect. No one will tell you where it is in the restaurant, you have to be in the know and make a reservation well before hand by visiting The Nobel Experiment’s website. They are very vague but that is because it is a speakeasy so don’t be offended. It is a must if you have never been to a real speakeasy!
